Little Rock has lots of great choices for seeing the latest flick and hottest films. We have theaters that specialize in art movies, Hollywood blockbusters and even an IMAX. Grab your popcorn and head to the movies!
This is the place for people who love "art" films. These are not the blockbuster hits of Hollywood but critically acclaimed films that don't get shown elsewhere. They show independent movies and cultural films. It's a great place to see something different. Ticket prices are average. Located on Market and Merrill Drive (312-8900).
This is Little Rock's newest theater. It's a MEGA theater with 82,000 square feet of movies. This theater is state-of-the-art with awesome sound, stadium seating which offers an unobstructed view of the screen and a great screen to boot. They play all the latest Hollywood blockbusters! Located on Colonel Glenn (687-0499).
It's unlike any other theater in Little Rock. The IMAX screen is six stories high with a six-channel, 16,500 watt sound system that brings you inside the movie. The films are mostly documentaries centering on aerospace exploration but unrelated movies are sometimes shown. It's something you need to experience at least once. Located at the Aerospace Education Center near the airport (376-4232).
Looking for some cheap movies? This is the place to go! This is a great theater to catch second-run films for just $1. Many of the films shown are already out on video or will soon be released but why rent them when you can see them on the big screen for the same price? Located on McCain Blvd in North Little Rock (945-7400).
Great seats, sound and a curved screen. This is pretty much a standard UA theater although I think it has more leg room than some. It's a great place to see all the Hollywood blockbuster films on 12 screens. Located at I-430 and Rodney Parham (224-0990).
Check them out for first-run Hollywood movies. You'll find all the latest blockbusters, standard theater seating and sound. Located at 12200 Westhaven Drive (off Chenal Parkway). Call 954-7734.

This one is in Cabot and a place to see first-run Hollywood movies. It's a neat looking theater that reminds me of old theaters. Their slogan is, "The way theaters used to be, only better." They have a great website!
