Top 8 Downtown HotelsAre you planning a trip to downtown Little Rock? These are the best hotels in the downtown area! You can be pampered, be in the middle of the booming downtown area and/or be close to any convention or event you're planning to attend. If you can't afford the most luxurious, I've also included some of the nicest, inexpensive hotels. 1. Peabody Hotel3 Statehouse PlzLittle Rock, AR 72201 800-804-6835 The Peabody is famous for the duck march, but they have other amenities for travellers including a health club, babysitting, a great restaurant and bar, a conference center and high-speed connectivity. The duck march, however, is something to see. The Peabody is right in the midst of the Rivermarket and within walking distance to most of the sites invluding convention center, auditorium, museums and they are just a short distance from the Clinton Library. Courtyard by Marriott Little Rock Downtown521 President Clinton AveLittle Rock, AR 72201, United States 501-975-9800 This courtyard probably has the best location in the city. It's right across from the Museum of Discovery, within walking distance of the Clinton library and close to some great restaurants. feature free high-speed internet access, a spacious work area, a comfortable living space, and mini-refrigerator. Special amenities include a lounge, business library, an indoor pool and spa, and a fitness center. Rates: $93-179.. Check Rates Now 3. The EmpressAlthough a little off the beaten path (it's not exactly as close to downtown as some of the other hotels), it's worth it. The Empress is a 17th century mansion that's been made into an Inn. It's got a lot more "Southern Charm" than any of the hotels downtown. They do have all the conveniences of modern life. Fax, Copier, and secretarial services are available. They also have a shuttle to and from the airport. Rates: $125-180.4. The RosemontBuilt in 1880 as a gentleman farmer's intown estate, Rosemont is the only authentic Victorian era farmhouse remaining in Little Rock's Quapaw Quarter Historic District. It's close to the convention center, River Market, etc. but not "walking distance." They have a nice breakfast and anytime fax & copier. Their rates are a steal. Rates: $79-125 a night.5. Holiday Inn600 Interstate 30Little Rock, AR 72202, United States 1-501-3752100 Yes, there is also a Holiday Inn downtown and a Holiday Inn is always a safe bet. It's pretty close to all the downtown attractions but not what I could call "walking distance." It's about a mile from the River Market, probably 2 or 3 from the State Capital. Rate: $74-129. Check Rates Now 6. Doubletree Hotel424 West MarkhamLittle Rock, AR, United States 501-372-4371 Although the Doubletree is a part of a large chain (Hilton), it's still a great hotel. The cookies are the clincher! They have high-speed Internet available and you can get a room with city view or river view. Shuttle service is provided. They are within walking distance of the convention center, auditorium, museums and the River Market district. Rates: $99-200. Check Rates Now 7. Comfort InnThe Comfort Inn is about a mile from the Rivermarket and Convention Center. They have a free downtown shuttle for their guests! You also get complimentary use of a computer, fax machine and printer and breakfast. You can also enjoy free wired and wireless Internet in certain rooms. Rates range from $79-99.8. Hilton Little Rock Metro Center925 South UniversityLittle Rock, AR, United States 501-664-5020 $127-203 Located on University, this Hilton is not right in the middle of downtown Little Rock but it's only a few miles away. You'll find this is like most other Hilton's, however they've been renovated recently with a new restaurant, and lobby bar. They also have a pool and fitness center and free parking.
