What?:
The Rimrockers are Arkansas' first professional basketball team. They are an American Basketball Association(ABA) team and they make their home at Alltel Arena. The ABA was originally started in the 60s but ceased when many teams merged with the National Basketball Association(NBA). However, it was brought back in 2000. What is a Rimrocker?:
Don't ask me! The Rimrocker's site says, “We took suggestions by fans throughout the state.” Apparently Rimrocker was a suggestion from two different people. It is catchy!
Do they have promotions?:
There are promotions often featured on the Rimrocker's site. Most of them aren't "first 500 fan" type promotions but special giveaways and events. The team also has the Rimrockettes, a dance team to keep you moving in your seat!
Where?:
The Rimrockers play at Alltel Arena, in North Little Rock.
When?:
ABA games are scheduled November through March.
