Throughout the Holiday Season:

Santa is at the Mall
Santa is at Park Plaza and McCain Mall starting on the 12.

Santa is at Bass Pro
The Bass Pro Shop just opened, but Santa already came to visit.  They have a really neat "wonderland" area with some activities and games.  The United States Capitol Christmas Tree will visit the new Bass Pro Shops on November 19.

CARTI Auxiliary Festival of Trees
Statehouse Convention Center
Festival of trees has many events including. my favorite, the Tux and Trees gala on November 9. Admission varies and benefits Arkansas cancer patients. Most events feature a silent auction of great items, including decorated trees.

Sugar Plum Ball
Statehouse Convention Center Ballroom
A daddy-daughter date night to benefit CARTI. Features a silent auction, dancing, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Admission: $40.00 per person.

Festival After Dark

A holiday mixer for singles and couples. Live entertainment. Part of CARTI's Festival of Trees.

Home(brew) for the Holidays
Old State House
A fun way to sample holiday beers from the Arkansas Homebrewers Association. It's free.

Capitol Christmas at Bass Pro
The United States Capitol Christmas Tree will visit the new Bass Pro Shops on November 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Jacksonville Holiday Craft and Gift Sale

Purchase original works of art and unique gifts from Arkansas artists and vendors from surrounding areas.  Handmade creations include woodwork, paintings, jewelry, holiday décor and more.  Concessions available. A juried show of contemporary art and fine crafts by over 100 members of the Arkansas Craft Guild. Hours: Friday, 10 a.m. -8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. Free admission.

Breakfast with Santa at Children's Hospital
Arkansas Children's Hospital
7 a.m. - noon
Santa comes on a big, red fire truck to meet your kids. firefighters from the Little Rock Fire Department cook and serve attendees a meal of pancakes, eggs, sausage and fruit. The children in attendance have the opportunity to take a picture with Santa, create holiday crafts, call the North Pole and enjoy festive music. Tickets $10.

City of Little Rock's Big Jingle Jubilee Holiday Parade & Capital Lighting

Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis
This is a fun 5k run in downtown Little Rock. Participants wear seasonal costumes, tie jingle bells to their shoelaces and take to the streets. You can register on the website.
