Jasmine's Euro-Asian Bistro

Quick Review

About.com Rating four out of Five

This is the best (if not the only) place in Little Rock for Asian fushion cuisine. They also have great sushi, although their menu isn't traditional.

Guide Review

Jasmine's is a mixture between Chinese, Japanese & European. Their menu features sushi and some of the best Asian dishes I've had in Little Rock. This restaurant is owned by the same person who owns Gaucho's so you know you're in for a unique experience.

The meal starts off with edamame, which are fresh soy beans that you can dip into a seasoning salt. Despite some strange looks from people at my table who had never heard of such a thing, they were quite enjoyable to everyone. It's a fun way to start a meal.

The restaurant offers everything from curried soups to meat and potatoes meals and lots of seafood. I had a more traditional vegetable noodle dish. The menu is a bit pricey (entrees are $10 on average) but the portion size is large and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very classy. Visit at lunch for a cheaper meal.

Their sushi was impressive. If you've never tried sushi, I suggest you give it a try. The server I had was quite educated about their menu and suggested some of her favorites so don't be afraid to ask! You should also try their sake to make the meal a complete Asian experience.

Jasmine's is located on 27 Rahling Cir, off Chenal and near Gaucho's. Call 501-821-1848 for more information.

Jada's Review:

Great atmosphere and good food. Out of way; you have to look for it. This is not the BEST Asian fusion in town. Lilly's DimSum and ThenSome is the best. (4 out of 5 stars)
