Casual dining with great prices. The Flying Fish has great food with no frills. With quirky decor and self-serve dining, this is the perfect place for a quick lunch or a casual dinner.

Guide Review : No Frills, Great Food

The Flying Fish is no frills. You place your order at a counter, get your own drinks and seat yourself amongst mounted fish with wings. However, the best catfish can normally be found at no frills places. Flying Fish doesn't have best catfish in Little Rock, but it is great catfish in Little Rock.

They do have catfish and have all you can eat catfish on Thursday nights. Besides the catfish, they have burgers, chicken, some non-fried seafoods like tilapia, shrimp and gumbo and even salads. Prices range from about $5 for burgers to about $12 for some of the pricier fish dishes.

My seafood loving friends love this place and it's in a great location if you'll be visiting downtown. The prices are just right, the atmosphere is fun and the food gets rave reviews from everyone who visits!

You could never tell from the atmosphere or service, but the Flying Fish is actually a small chain of restaurants and can also be found in Texas and Memphis.
