Don't be fooled by the name, Erba serves "New American" cusine. You won't find burgers and fries here. The cuisine here is more upscale, serving dishes that are far fancier than the normal fare in Little Rock. Prices are moderate to high. The lunch menu is a bit cheaper.
Guide Review
The first time I saw Erba after a Chenal shopping trip, I thought, "American cusine? This should be a great place to get a quick burger and fries for lunch." Then I walked into the restaurant. The decor is far from burgers and fries and I expect the dinner crown is dressed to match. White table cloths cover the tables and flowing curtains separate tables for a more romantic atmosphere.
The fact that traditional burgers and fries weren't on the menu didn't phase me much, although the lunch menu does contain sandwiches. Expect to find seafoods, pastas and dishes like beef Napoleon. Prices for lunch range from $15.95 for Beef Napoleon to $5.95 for a chicken sandwich with prosciutto on focaccia bread. Dinner is a bit pricer with $26.95 prime rib, pasta, seafood and more (average entree price is $18).
We had tortellini with leek sauce and it was very tasty. The leek sauce was very light and unique. We also had chicken sandwich with waffle fries. The focaccia was amazing! The chicken was perfectly seasoned to match the bread.
Since the restaurant is new, we were the only people there. However, the waiters seemed very professional and helpful.
All in all I would recommend Erba to someone with an adventurous appetite.
