If you're looking for a casual sports bar with homemade food and great desserts, Alley Oops is the right place.

Guide Review

The atmosphere is casual. There are normally two to three sporting events playing on their TVs (they have a few little ones scattered about the bar and a big screen in the main dining area. They have a wide range of choices ranging from chicken dishes to nachos. Prices range from. They feature different handmade desserts everyday.

Since moving to their new location, I think Alley Oops lost part of their atmosphere which made going more fun to me. The new atmosphere is almost sterile. The food is as good as food you'd expect to find in a bar and grill so it's really not the food that would pull you into the doors.

What might get you into the doors are the desserts. They normally have wonderful desserts like chocolate chess pie and different varieties of cheese cakes. All of these are homemade daily at the restaurant and, in my experience, each one is wonderful.

The service is friendly. The last few times I've been the food has been on the well done side, however last time it was replaced without me even suggesting it. They also are quick to do drink refills and bring your check. Just don't catch them when they're busy!

All in all, if you're looking for a bar and grill, it is an enjoyable place to visit.

Located at 11900 Kanis Rd, 501-221-9400.
