Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock, AR

What:

Wildwood Park is a botanical garden with a twist: they also have a stage and feature live music, special events and cultural performances throughout the year. The gardens are located on 105 acres with a mission to celebrate the arts and nature. The gardens of Wildwood include The Pavilion Daffodil Garden featuring a spring daffodil and flowering tree garden, The Richard C. Butler Arboretum featuring natural woodland plants, the Bruce Garden featuring native perennials, ferns and grasses, the Doris Gay Asian Garden, the Hunter's Glen and the BOP Water Garden.

Where:

Located in Chenal Valley, just a 20-minute drive from downtown Little Rock. However, it feels like you're far away from downtown Little Rock when wandering the gardens. (Google Map)

Contact / Hours:

The park is open every weekday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Sundays between noon and 5 p.m. Admission is free except on festival weekends.

Special Events:

Wildwood puts on classical performances in the spring and summer. The BLOOMS! festival is every spring. They normally have Halloween, Christmas and other special occasion events too. Check their events page to see what they have planned.
