What:
According the hotel, it was first famous for having electricity and an elevator large enough to fit a horse. I'm not old enough to remember those times, but today the Capital is famous for the luxurious rooms, the first class service and southern charm. There are flowers in every room, smiles on staff faces and little touches everywhere that make your stay memorable. Since the recent renovations, it really does look great.
The Capital always gets rave reviews.

Food:
The Capital Bar and Grill is more reasonable priced, less formal and you still get great food.
The Chef's have one of the most enjoyable food blogs of Arkansas foodies: New American Cuisine. They often show photos of the foods that will go on the menu, and discuss their ideals and approaches to food.
