I often get asked if Little Rock is open to alternative lifestyles. I would say most of the city is, but we don't have much of a community as big cities like Austin or even Memphis. There are a few places for you to hang out with kindred spirits and have a good time. These recommendations are from my buddies, so if you have any to add or any comments to make, please email me and I'll add them!
Located at 1021 Jessie Drive.
2. The FactoryThey cater to the gay community, but anyone is welcome. They claim to "offer a place where you be yourself or be somebody else." Dancing and music plus a quiet area where you can think if you're not into the "rave" scene. Open Tuesday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
412 S Louisiana St
3. SidetracksMy favorite review of this place called it the gay version of Cheers. I can't attest to that, but this is often called the place for gay men to go if they just want to hang out and have a good time without the drag shows and other paraphernalia. They do have themes like country night and leather night. Open 7 days a week, Monday-Saturday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.
