What:
Hope is famous for it's watermelons and it celebrates them ever summer. The modern day Hope Watermelon festival features numerous activities including Arts & Crafts, food, entertainment and other family-oriented activities. Nearly 300 Arts and Crafts booths are be set up at the festival grounds.
When:
The Watermelon Festival is held during the summers. In 2009, it will be held August 6 - 8.
Activities:
Alongside arts and crafts for kids there is music, the largest arts and crafts show in Arkansas, a 5k walk-run, food, an antique car show, softball, a seed spitting contest and LOTS of watermelon.
