Before You Say Goodbye To The Summer - Labor Day Activities in Little Rock

From

All good things must come to an end, and that goes for summer too. It's time to say goodbye to the summer, and welcome the fall. It's your last day off of work and school for a while. You better enjoy it!

For Kids

With the cool weather we've been having, it's the perfect time to go to the zoo and labor day is the last day to see their special "Winged Wonders" show. The Museum of Discovery is always a fun bet for a family outing, though they don't have any special events for Labor Day.

For Teens

This is the last good chance for you to visit Wild River River Country. Magic Springs will still be open on the weekends for a while, but Crystal Falls will not be. You could just hang out at the Rave. There are a few movies coming out labor day weekend including "All About Steve," starring Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper, Justin Bateman-Ben Affleck comedy "Extract" and a Gerard Butler suspense film called "Gamer."

For Adults

Labor Day is the perfect time to take a day trip or weekend getaway. Visit Hot Springs, Queen Wilhelmina, go camping or fishing. Enjoy yourself and prepare for the winter. Labor day weekend is the Mount Magazine 2009 Fly-In, where hang gliders launch from the mountain.
