Before You Say Goodbye To The Summer - Labor Day Activities in Little Rock

By

All good things must come to an end, and that goes for summer too. It's time to say goodbye to the summer, and welcome the fall. It's your last day off of work and school for a while. You better enjoy it!

Special Events

Labor Day weekend is your last chance to catch the Wild Wonders show at the Little Rock Zoo for the season. Pinnacle Mountain has a Labor Day Lake Cruise on September 1 and will have interpretative activities off and on on Monday, Sept 2. Lake Catherine State Park is having a summer blowout all weekend. Kids eat free every Monday at the Promenade at Chenal between 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., not just Labor Day.

For Kids

It is the last time for your kid to get out before the summer is officially over. Take them some place where they can commune with nature.

For Teens

This is the last good chance for you to visit Wild River River Country. Magic Springs will still be open on the weekends for a while, but Crystal Falls will not be. You could just hang out at the Rave.

For Adults

Labor Day is the perfect time to take a day trip or weekend getaway. Visit Hot Springs, Queen Wilhelmina, go camping or fishing. Enjoy yourself and prepare for the winter.
