Throughout the spring and summer Cajun's has their deck parties every Thursday night and the Peabody Hotel has their Rivertop Parties every Friday night.
Movies in the Park is every Wednesday in the River Market amphitheater and River Flicks is every Thursday in North Little Rock.
Farmer's Markets are located at a few places in the city, and are generally Tuesday and Saturday

- Blogs and Genealogical Research Lecture at Arkansas Studies Institute, 401 President Clinton Avenue. Starts at 6 p.m.
- First Thursday in Hillcrest starts at 5:30. Merchants offer special buys and samples.
- Taste of the Rock is in the River Market from 5-7 p.m. Over 30 vendors from some of the best restaurants in the city. Tickets are $15.
June 4 -
- Prostate Cancer Screening and Info at Philander Smith College.
- The Paws on the Pavement 5k is a fun run for CARE. Admission is $20. The 5k is for humans, but there's a 1 mile fun run for pets (and their humans). Also has a doggie carnival, contests and more.
June 5 -
- Little Rock Wind Symphony at St. James Methodist Church on 321 Pleasant Valley Drive. Tickets are $10.
June 6 -
- The Elvis at 21 photography exhibit opens at the Clinton Library. It runs through August.
June 10 -
- 2nd Friday Art Night in the River Market District, after-hours gallery walk from 5-8 p.m.
June 11
- 175 Years of Statehood Celebration at the Old State House Museum. Free celebration with events and living history presentations all day. The Old State House will also be hosting a formal party and silent auction celebrating statehood on the 15th. Tickets for it are $75.
- Asian Festival at the Mosaic Church on 6420 Colonel Glenn Road from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food and cultural celebration. Tickets $3.
- Little Rock Wind Symphony Stars and Stripes Celebration at MacArthur Park starting at 6 p.m. Free admission.
June 16-July 2-
- Arkansas Shakespeare Festival at various locations. Hendrix College in Conway and the Argenta Community Theater will produce "As You Like It." "Othello" will be produced at UCA. You can find out more on their website.
June 18-
- Family Saturday at the Heifer Village from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn about food around the world.
- Alzheimer's Walk at the Riverfest Amphitheater at 9 .m.
June 24-26-
- Arkansas Big Bass Bonanza on the Arkansas River.

- Breakfast with the Primates at the Little Rock Zoo. Admission varies. Contact the zoo for details.
- River Market Horticulture and Culinary Seminar at the River Market. Lectures and demonstrations about growing and cooking seasonal fruits and vegetables. Cost is $50 per person.
