Harvest Home Festival at Plantation Agriculture Museum and State Park (Scott)

Pumpkin decorating, local vendors, bobbing for apples and more fall activities. Free.

Monster Madness (Bryant)

Mills Park
Monster Madness is Bryant's big Halloween bash. Lots of activities for kids including a costume contest, trunk-or-treat and a haunted trail. It's from 6- 9 p.m. off Mill's Park Road.

Little Rock Old State House
Eight museums have organized the 10th annual Big Booseum Bash, a safe trick-or-treating environment with Central Arkansas Transit buses moving participants from site to site. Haunted Hayride at Immaculate Heart of Mary School (NLR)

Haunted hayride by Knights of Columbus. The hayride last for 20 minutes and is rated "scary." It's not super-scary, though. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for kids.
Parents' Night Out at the Little Rock Athletic Club (LR)

Halloween at Pinnacle Mountain State Park (Roland)
Hayrides October 27-29
Pinnacle is having a pumpkin carving contest again this year. Carve your pumpkin entry into a scene, activity, land form, plant or animal found in the park. If enough pumpkins are entered by noon on October 26, they will be lit and featured on the hayride route. They are also having hayrides. The hayrides are from 5-7 p.m. and are $10 for adults, $5 for children. Advance reservations are required: 501-868-5806
