When the weather is nice, we all want to sit outside on a great patio or deck and enjoy it. If you would like to enjoy a great meal on a patio, I've got some places where you can do it. I've tried to include a variety of different restaurants in different spots around the city, so you can find an outdoor dining experience for any taste in any place.

Cajun's deck parties are legendary, and they are the main reason many locals visit Cajun's. However, even on non-party nights, the deck overlooks the Arkansas River and is an enjoyable experience. The deck is in the bar part of Cajun's, but minors can set there during early hours. You can enjoy live music on the deck on Wednesday through Saturday. Cajun's is located on 2400 Cantrell Rd and serves mostly seafood. Cajun's food can be pricey, but drinks aren't bad.
Brave New Restaurant is known for its excellent food and excellent views. On nice evenings, it can be hard to get a patio seat because of the great view looking out over the Arkansas River. Brave New Restaurant is pricey, but it's some of the best food in the city. They focus on local and seasonal items. Brave New Restaurant is located at 2300 Cottondale Lane.
Not all restaurants with nice decks are pricey. Pizza Cafe has an excellent deck, and on nice days there is always a wait to sit on it. The deck has fans in the summer and is semi-heated in the winter. If you like thin crust, Pizza Cafe pizzas are some of the best in town. They are pretty inexpensive and located at 1517 Rebsamen Park Road.
Acadia always comes up when someone mentions outdoor dining. You can't help but notice the beautiful tiered deck when you drive by Acadia. Even though it's in the middle of Hillcrest, the deck feels almost like a garden. Acadia calls itself "casual fine dining," and they have a Cajun flair to their menu. It's moderately pricey and located at 3000 Kavanaugh Blvd.
Casa Manana serves decent Mexican food, but the real thing that separates them from the competition is their huge outdoor deck. They have a few unique menu offerings and serve breakfast. The deck is located at 6820 Cantrell Road. They are pretty inexpensive.
Taziki's serves Greek food, and they actually have two patios. The one I prefer is the deck in the back, not the little chairs in the front. Taziki's is one of my favorite quick lunch places in the city. The location with the great deck is 8200 Cantrell Heights.
The Revolution's restaurant has the nicest patio in the River Market. I also think it's some of the better food in the River Market, and they are pretty inexpensive for the area. It's located at 300 President Clinton Avenue.
Starving Artist Cafe offers the best outdoor dining in downtown North Little Rock. They offer a European-style cafe menu in an eclectic atmosphere. Starving Artist is moderately expensive. Located at 411 Main St in the Argenta Arts District.
YaYa's has a great lunch which isn't very expensive, though their dinner prices are moderate. They serve soup and sandwiches, pizzas, salads and more substantial entrees like lamb, steak and seafood. Their patio is very nice, but recently they've gotten some patio competition from Bravo!
and Big Orange
, also in the Promenade. YaYa's is located at 17711 Chenal Parkway, in the Promenade at Chenal shopping center.
U.S. Pizza at 2814 Kavanaugh has a very nice deck to relax on, and a variety of cold beer on their menu. The pizza is reasonably priced.

Ciao Baci is young and trendy, and the deck is the place to kick back and be seen. They are known for their tapas and cocktails, but their entree items are pretty good too. They are moderate. Located at 605 N. Beechwood St.
