Home and Body

You don't have to buy one of those impersonal mall gift baskets.

Everyone loves to be pampered. When I run out of ideas for things to buy people on my Christmas list, I always turn to fragrances or candles. Just because you're giving an all-purpose gift doesn't mean it has to be impersonal. It's easy to find the best in handmade fragrances and skip the department store stuff.

Potpourri makes a great gift for the casual acquaintance. Aromatique sells unique fragrances and candles. You can visit them in downtown Hot Springs. Their web site just gives information about the products and does not allow you to purchase them.

Bath products and candles make great gifts for the casual acquaintance or someone you know well. However, you don't have to buy one of those impersonal mall gift baskets. Good For You sells individual products and gift baskets that are much better than anything you will find in a mall store. They are located on Kavanaugh in Little Rock. If you are looking for candles for someone on your list, Copeland Candles sells some of the most beautiful candles in the state. Try them before you head to a department store.

You could also consider a gift certificate to Rejuvenation Clinic Day Spa (in Little Rock) or Buckstaff Baths (in Hot Springs) for a day of pampering that anyone is sure to love.
