Do you have a nose for mystery? Do you always catch the clues when watching television shows like Murder She Wrote or Diagnosis Murder? Do you think you could solve a murder just like Sherlock Holmes? Well, here's your chance.

Imagine a nice weekend away from home. You plan a little relaxation, some light reading and, most of all, to get away from the hassles of modern life. However something puts a kink in your plans. There is a murder in the hotel at dinner. Everyone around you is a suspect and you try desperately to figure out "whodunit" before the police come.

You don't have to be Jessica Fletcher (of Murder She Wrote) to get yourself into this twisted situation. Anyone can find themselves in the midst of a murder with interesting characters and surprising twists just by visiting the Olde Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast in Hardy, Arkansas.

No, the inn isn't in a bad part of town. Norman Bates isn't going to meet you at the door or visit you in the shower. You won't actually get murdered here. The hotel designs elegant and fun murder mystery weekends for their guests once a month. It's like a living play and you get a part. They have actors on staff and the guests are assigned parts in the play (don't worry, you don't have to be an actress or memorize long scripts. The inn says you should just have fun!). The crime unfolds over a weekend and the guests discover clues and hints along the way.

The cost of murder? I guess that depends on who you ask. At The Olde Stone House murder only costs $175 per person for a double occupancy room or $275 for a single occupancy room. That includes two nights lodging, a buffet dinner on Friday evening, breakfast Saturday and Sunday, dinner Saturday night at a private club, souvenir t-shirts and special prizes. Who would have known that murder could be so cheap?

The accommodations at the Olde Stone House are gorgeous and the inn is like something from the 1920's (because it is). Even if you can't figure out "whodunit", you'll still have a great getaway from your daily reality. You can step back in time and become a new person all in one weekend!

All in all, this sounds like a fun way to spend a weekend. You get a little adventure, a great hotel, dinner and maybe you'll meet a few friends along the way. Who could ask for more? Check their site for dates and more information.

Just be careful who you talk to or you may be the subject of their next murder mystery party.
