No, the inn isn't in a bad part of town. Norman Bates isn't going to meet you at the door or visit you in the shower. You won't actually get murdered here. The hotel designs elegant and fun murder mystery weekends for their guests once a month. It's like a living play and you get a part. They have actors on staff and the guests are assigned parts in the play (don't worry, you don't have to be an actress or memorize long scripts. The inn says you should just have fun!). The crime unfolds over a weekend and the guests discover clues and hints along the way.
The cost of murder? I guess that depends on who you ask. At The Olde Stone House murder only costs $175 per person for a double occupancy room or $275 for a single occupancy room.
