Ask anyone who follows college football and you'll find out there are very few things Arkansans love more than their Razorbacks. Arkansas is well known for its fanatical devotion to its team. It's amazing to see the show of support for the Hogs on the roads of Little Rock whenever there is a home game. It doesn't matter if they win or lose, we're always proud to Hog Call them (if you've never heard the Hog Call, you should attend a game sometime and get first hand experience). Because we love our Razorbacks so much, there are many, many sites on the web. So many, in fact, it can be a little hard to find what you want to find. These are some of my favorite sites for getting your cyber-hog fix.
Stats and Facts
- Hogwired, the official Razorback site, is the best Razorback "news" site. The site offers articles about the Razorbacks (in all sports), information about facilities, recruits, buying tickets and more. You can find everything you want to know about the Hogs here.
- Hog Call: A great resource for Razorback information and a bit of fun too. You can find all the latest news and a fan network on their pages.
- Yahoo! Sports: If you're desperate to see the game but can't get tickets, you should check out Yahoo. They broadcast most of the games live and have many archived games on file. You can catch the game you missed and be sure you don't miss another.
Fans and Fun
- Hog Uncensored: A fan site offering free hog classified listings (tickets, memorabilia, merchandise, etc)and an uncensored message board. Pretty much anything is fair game except threats and personal attacks.
- Pigpen Fan Network: The best site to meet other hog fans by far. Many Razorback fans chat here in the forum and the chat room. It's an excellent way to communicate with other fans.
- Oinkville: The page has many fun sections including Razorgasms (digitally edited photos), Razorchicks (very scantily clad women) and some information about the Hogs. It also has Logoland (many variations of the Razorback logo). I don't know how often this page is updated but even if it's not frequently updated, it is definitely fun.
Showing Hog Spirit
- Campus Store. Here you'll find officially licensed merchandise and lots of it. You can buy jackets, watches, screensavers and more at this convenient online Razorback superstore. You can even buy the big, plastic hog hats!
- Hogman's Hog Pen: If you happen to be in Little Rock, check out their store on University for LOTS (and I do mean LOTS) of Razorback memorabilia. This place has everything from hog earrings to jackets and apparel. If you don't feel comfortable buying on the web, you can get your Razorback fix here in no time! They also have a web shop which is perfect for out-of-towners or locals who are pressed for time.
