Daffodils at Wye Mountain

With this nice weather, daffodils are starting to bloom all over, but Wye Mountain isn't in bloom just yet.   The daffodil festival will be open March 22-23 and March 29-30 for you to enjoy the bright daffodils as they welcome in spring.

The daffodil festival is a great place to get photos of your kids or even couple photos. While it's a bit crowded, there is plenty of room for posing. It's a beautiful backdrop. It is something everyone in Little Rock should visit at least once in person.  I have some photos but they don't do it justice.

You might need directions, but it is just a short drive from Little Rock. It's what marks the beginning of spring in Arkansas for me, even though it seems like we always have one last cold spell after the daffodils bloom.  We haven't had any real cold this year, so I'm expecting it at any second!

Tulip season is next.  Argenta will probably be planting tulips again and Garvan Gardens is always a win for tulips.  Their tulip extravaganza starts March 1.  They also have daffodils right now.
