There are several celebrations of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. going on Monday. There is the annual King Parade in Pine Bluff, some citywide clean-up projects and a service project helping the homeless of Central Arkansas. You can read more about the events here.
You can also read about the Central High Visitor's Center. Dr. King wasn't directly involved with the segregation of Central High, but it was a turning point in the battle for civil rights.
