Nothing says summer more than a trip to the ball park. It's a fun family outing and Dickey-Stephens Park is a great little little stadium.
If you've never seen the Travs in Dickey-Stephens Park, where have you been? It's a great way to spend a nice spring or summer evening. If you're not fond of the game of baseball, the people watching and entertainment make it worth the ticket price. They also have a lot of great family events and special promotions. Many nights kids can run bases and dance with Shelly, the Traveler's mascot. Shelly is a horse, if you're wondering.
Ticket prices range from $6-12. You can't get entertainment like Shelly and Belvis for less. Be sure to check out Ump's while you're there.
