Kris isn't the only Allen who's attempting to win some fame. His wife Katy is starring in a new web series called "The Bloodstone Diaries." You can watch a teaser on facebook. The story stars Katy Allen as the lead and is sci-fi/fantasy oriented:
Bettie Lawrence (Katy Allen) is an average, all-American girl who stumbles upon a mysterious jewel with amazing powers. After a devastating tragedy, Bettie becomes the latest in a long line of reluctant protectors of the Bloodstone. Learning with the viewer the secrets of the Bloodstone while seeking revenge on the men who destroyed her simple life, Bettie must answer the ultimate question: If you could save the world, but die trying... would you do it?
There's a premiere party tonight, Friday January 8, at Star Bar at 9:00 p.m. Rumor has it that Katy Allen will be present. Star Bar is at 1900 West 3rd, where the Italian Couple used to be.
