Technically, labor day weekend is the last summer weekend, but with the kids going back to school either this week or next, this seems like the last summer weekend to me.
- Super Summer Saturdays in Space are continuing at the Clinton Library.
- Saturday is Artifact I.D. Day at the Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park Visitor Center.
- Saturday night is "Murder at MacArthur Park," the murder mystery series. The fee is $44 per person. Call 501-868-7287.
- The Travelers are playing this weekend at home.
- Saturday is Breakfast with the Great Apes at the Zoo.
- Sunday is the Heifer Moo-Vie: "We Are Traffic!" Heifer Moo-Vies are free at the Heifer Village, 1 World Avenue, starting at 3 p.m.
- August 20 - 23 is Eureka Springs Bluegrass Weekend. Lots of fun folk music and crafts in Eureka Springs. This is a pretty big festival.
- August 21 - 23 is the 5th Annual Mountains, Music & Motorcycles in Mountain View.
- August 22-23 is the 16th Annual End of Summer Hang Glider Fly-In at Mount Nebo. Weather permitting, hang gliders will be taking off all weekend. Mount Nebo is one of two parks that allow hang gliding in Arkansas. The other is Mount Magazine.
