Arkansas Tea Party Rally on June 15

Arkansas Tea Party is hosting a rally at the River Market in Little Rock on June 15, 2009 starting at 5:30 p.m. They'll have a few special guests including some state representatives, musicians and a former Miss Arkansas. Bob Basso, commonly known as “Thomas Paine” on YouTube and the Glenn Beck Show, will also be there. Lots of entertainment is scheduled (as a warning, the website is a little obnoxious as it has a video that runs when you load it).

According to the organization, they are a group of citizens from across Arkansas concerned about the growth of the federal government and the mounting debt from reckless government spending. The rally is going to support the values that laid the foundation for the United States’ freedom and greatness: individual liberty and free market ideals. It's also a fund raiser for the organization.

The event will be at the River Market Amphitheater from 5:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. Food will be available and children are welcome.
