My Thoughts: Kris Allen on American Idol Wednesday Night

I'll post a follow up tomorrow too, but I just got finished watching Kris sing "Man in the Mirror." Singing Michael Jackson is normally a bad omen on American Idol. Will it be for Kris? Who knows, the judges seemed to like it. Simon even said, "The chicks are going to love you." He's married, ladies, but you can still love him.

Personally, I thought he did a good job. I'd like to see him go through. It probably wasn't the best performance of the season, but vocally he was better than anyone else so far tonight. The contestants always get better as they progress, and I really do think it was a poor song choice. He did great with it. I think he leads the boys up to this point. He may be a wildcard if he doesn't go through. The judges seem to like him.
