Tomorrow may be your only chance to vote Kris Allen on American Idol. That is, if you don't vote for Kris Allen on American Idol tomorrow it probably will be your only chance. This Conway resident (Little Rock native) has the chance to make it to the big time, but we have to vote him through to the top 12. His elimination round is tomorrow, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. on Fox and you only have a few hours to vote after the show. There are watch parties planned at Sticky Fingerz and the Rev Room in Little Rock.
Ashleigh Mahan LambArkansas is a small world and at least half a dozen people I know know Kris (or know Kris's family). Everyone who knows him says he's a great guy. He sings at weddings, is apparently nice to his grandma and even leads worship at New Life Church in Conway, AR and on campus at University of Central Arkansas. If he gets through to the top 12, I'll try to get some official quotes about him from people who know him to put up, but he seems like a great guy who deserves to get a shot at fame.
Some fun facts about Kris are that he taught himself to play the guitar at 13 and can also play the piano,viola and ukulele (there is a YouTube video of him on the ukulele). He also produced an album in 2007 titled, "Brand New Shoes."

Correction, Voting is Feb 25th not 24th, results show will be on the 26th. I know it is normally on Tues/Wed but it was moved due to the presidents speech.
