Friday Night is Family Night at the Imax

Monday December 8, 2008
Every Friday night is family night at the Imax/Aerospace Education center. Your IMAX ticket is $5.50 a person and you get free popcorn and soda. The price is only good for the 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. shows.

The IMAX is a little off the path in Little Rock, since it's located near the airport, and not in the downtown area. I find that people often forget that it exists. It can make for a fun family outing, and the price is right on Friday nights.

Currently, it looks like they're showing "Amazing Journeys," which is an IMAX film that examines six amazing animal journeys including migrating zebras in East Africa and gray whales off Mexico's coast in Baja California.
