Ways to be Thankful for What you Have and Mindful for Those Who Don't

Thursday November 27, 2008
Now is the season of giving to those who are less fortunate. I have a list of 10 charities that could use donations. Food donations are down everywhere, including Arkansas.

The salvation army is sponsoring the "Angel Tree" in Park Plaza and McCain malls. The angel tree is a great program. You go to the mall, pick up a needy child's card which includes sizes, needs and wants, and you get to play Santa by buying gifts for them. When I visited, they told me that they have more angels this year than years previous.

If anyone has any charities I missed that need help, please comment with the info people need to contribute and I will add them to my list. Who says there just has to be ten?
