I've been watching Kristen Fisher's "Choose Your News" where she's using her blog and twitter to let viewers chose what stories she covers. It's gotten a lot of attention from local bloggers and twitterers.
It made me wonder who else was on Twitter, so I searched through the people I was following to bring you a list of local tweeters and famous tweeters and some Twitter Tips.

Hey tweeters, I know a lot of people have requested I follow them in the last few days, but my Internet connection has been out. I can twitter on my iPhone and I’ve been using public wifi to post to my blog, etc. but I haven’t had a chance to aggregate all your data over to the list. I’m saving you guys’ info though. Hopefully I’ll be able to add it (but they can’t fix my ‘net until after Thanksgiving).
I posted the same thing to twitter, in 140 characters!
