Arkansas wine country is in Altus, Arkansas, which is just two hours from Little Rock. It will be on Saturday, September 27 and tours start at 8:30 a.m. The real festivities start at 4:00 though with entertainment and dinner soon to follow.

I have been to a Wiederkehr wine fest years ago and she is correct. It was fun. In the past two years my wife and I went and we will not go again. The atmosphere is depressing unless you are real drunk. The buildings are rotting down. It looks like the owners have decided to let it rot. Does the Wiederkehr family still own it?
I was just there in August and it looked very nice. The buildings seemed fine to me. I dined at the restaurant. It seemed to be well taken care of to me.
