Arkansans Go For the Gold

There are many Olympians with Arkansas ties in Beijing. Among them are many track and field stars. Including:

• Tyson Gay, competing in the 100m
• Wallace Spearmon, competing in the 100m and 200m
• Christin Wurth-Thomas competing in the 1,500m
• Amy Yoder-Begley competing in the 10,000m
• Deena Kastor competing in the marathon
• Nicole Teter, competing in the 800m
• Veronica Campbell-Brown, competing in the 200m.
• April Steiner-Bennett competing in the pole vault
• Jeff Hartwig competing in the pole vault
• Michael Roberson competing in discus
• Muna Lee competing in the 100m and 200m

We also have Terry Tiffee on the baseball team and Margaux Isaksen, who is only 16 years old, competing in the modern pentathlon.

I'm not a giant Olympics fan, but I'll try to keep my eyes on these guys. Good luck!
