Lake Catherine is in Hot Springs, which is just about an hour away from Little Rock. You can find everything from luxury cabins to a primitive campsite at Lake Catherine. The cabins there are just gorgeous.

Lake Catherine is on of the five Diamond Lakes in the Hot Springs area, the others being Ouchita, DeGray, Greeson and Hamilton. They are called the diamond lakes because of their pristine waters, and because this is Arkansas. We are famous for diamonds. Lake Catherine does have pristine waters, and, like many of our parks, water sports are very popular here.

The park's marina offers rental boats and Lake Catherine is a great place for fishing. It's also a fun place for picnicking, camping, hiking, swimming and horseback riding. They have pavilions, playgrounds and picnic sites for families to enjoy.

Cabins range from around $80-200. Call 501-844-4176 for more information or check the updated rates on the website.
