The DemGaz has an article today about parking meters and tickets in downtown Little Rock.
"An Arkansas Democrat-Gazette analysis of three years of Little Rock parking ticket data . . . found that Wednesday was the prime ticket-giving day during the workweek, with Friday being the last. . . The largest chunk of expired meter tickets were written in the 600 block of West Capitol Avenue between Arch and Gaines streets." [near the courthouse]
That is good information if you're visiting downtown! You can read the entire article for more fun parking facts if you're a subscriber. The article says that jurors get the most tickets and that explaines the abundance of tickets near the courhouse. If you've never served jury duty in Arkansas, your instructions are to park pretty much where ever you can and the city will comp your tickets.

Confused about parking in downtown Little Rock? Here are the parking rules and meter hours.
