I've been planning to try Mexico Chiquito's newest location on Cantrell for a while now. We haven't had a dine-in location in Little Rock for a few years.

I finally got a chance to try it this weekend. I was impressed. The place looks nice, service was good and the food was exactly what I expected.

You have to go in expecting a Mexico Chiquito and not fine dining. What you'll get is good, old fashioned Tex-Mex and not complex flavors presented on an elegant platter. Obviously people like it anyway. The chain has been around since 1935, and at lunch time, their take-out locations are always swamped.
