Two great photo contests are coming to an end pretty soon. If you are a shutterbug, it's time to start finalizing your entries.

First is the Little Rock Zoo photo contest. That one is for any photo taken at the Little Rock Zoo in the last year. The winners get Bedford Camera gift certificates. I had a hard time finding the entry forms this year, but the Arkansas Outdoor Photographers Club has them on their website (Word doc form). The entry is $5 for each of the first two photos and $3 for each photo after that. Entry deadline is April 15 at 5:00 p.m.

The The Great Arkansas Outdoor Photography Contest has a $1,000 cash prize for any photo of "Arkansas Outdoors" taken between Aug 15, 2007 and April 25, 2008. Additionally, prizes may be awarded for specific photos of fish, turkey, waterfowl, flowers/macro, insects, and wildlife. No entry fees for this one. You can download the form (PDF) at Bedford's site. Entry deadline is April 25.
