Arkansas is going to have an All American Football League team. This is a new league with teams in Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Michigan and Alabama.

Tickets are on sale now. Season tickets range from $65 to $265. Tickets range from $13 to $53.

Home games will be April 19 (TN), May 3 (AL), May 10 (MI), May 24 (TX) and June 14 (FL) at War Memorial Stadium. The AAFL’s six teams will begin play April 12, 2008, and will hold its first Championship Game on July 3, 2008.

I'm always a bit skeptical about new franchises as we've been burned several times before in Little Rock. I don't know much about this league, but it's nice to have something new this side of the river.
