I-430 Bridge Friday Closing & Children's Hospital

If you're planning to go on the I-430 bridge Friday (rescheduled to Monday, Jan 28) afternoon, you might plan another route or extra time, because traffic will be slow. The southbound, outside lane will be closed for inspection of the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All lanes will be open at peak times. This probably won't affect travelers too much. The alternate route is through the downtown area, and that is probably be more time consuming, even with delays. I would just add a few extra minutes to my commute.

In other news, Fortune magazine announced that Arkansas Children's Hospital of Little Rock was ranked 76th on its "100 Best Companies to Work For" list. An employee survey was part of the statistical information used in Fortune's ranking. Over 400 companies were compared by Fortune. Almost 100,000 employee surveys were completed.
