Do You Love Animals? Want To Volunteer At The Zoo?

Wednesday January 23, 2008
If you love animals, being a Little Rock Zoo docent might be up your alley. Docents are volunteer teachers who get to handle some cool animals, go to some neat places and teach zoo visitor's a lot of cool stuff. I may be a bit biased, because I volunteer at the zoo myself, but I think it's a blast!

If you're interested, the next class starts soon. Orientation is Feb 5th or Feb 9th. You can email the education department for an invitation.

Thanks!

That bird looks amazing!!! When I get older, I want to be just like you guys working with awesome animals like that. I love Eagles and all species of birds. How old do you have to be to be a volunteer?
