Clinton School Discusses Broadband

Tuesday December 4, 2007
A topic that is interesting to me, being a computer geek, is the Internet. With forecasters projecting that the Internet could run out of capacity before 2010, I'm especially interested in broadband technology and where it will be going.

It seems like the Clinton school has a presentation aimed just at people like me on December 6 from 12 PM - 1 PM. Walter McCormick, CEO of the United States Telecom Association, will discuss what can be done to build a broadband nation where all Americans have access to the opportunities this technology makes possible. Michael Manley of The University of Arkansas’s Antenatal and Neonatal Guidelines, Education and Learning System (ANGELS) will be discussing how broadband can be used in healthcare. Reserve your seats by emailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or calling 501-683-5239.

If all of that is Greek to you, just check out the library. It's pretty cool with no geek speak!
