Rumba

Saturday September 15, 2007
RumbaRumba is fast becoming one of my favorite places to eat downtown (even if the "Rev Room" isn't really my favorite hang out). The food is consistently good and every time I bring someone new, my friends comment about how they never even knew the restaurant was there.

It's highly recommended if you like spicy food. They call it "Mexi-Cuban" because it's Mexican food with a Cuban twist. Whatever they call it, it's great and the price is just right.

I do wish they wouldn't have taken the "Pick 3" tapas off the menu. That was my favorite thing to get. On my last visit, they had the tapas listed separately and picking 3 would have ended up being a bit more than the previous menu item (previously $7.99, last visit would have been at least $12). Oh well. I guess this means I need to update my review.
