Little Rock Zoo Celebrates Wonders of the Watershed (and Explorer Fest)

Tuesday September 11, 2007
lizardThis Saturday the Little Rock Zoo is having its third annual Wonders of the Watershed celebration. More than a dozen organizations will be on-hand with free handouts and fun educational programs for kids to teach the public all about the importance of water to our environment. There will also be some live animal programs.

The Little Rock Zoo Teen Volunteers, the Explorers, are also celebrating their anniversary on Saturday. They'll be selling baked goods and animal inspirited art and also recruiting future Explorers. So, bring some extra cash to help them out and bring your teen or pre-teen to learn more about the post.

Admission to the festivities is included with the price of admission ($8 for adults, $6 for kids). More Little Rock Zoo Photos by Amanda Galiano
