Little Rock School District Cuts Athletics

The Little Rock School Board voted to cut 6th grade athletics out of the curriculum. According to the board, this will save $80,000 and protect students from unlicensed coaches. Prior to the decision, Little Rock was the only District in the state that provided athletics to sixth grade students.
