The River Rail Opens

The new electric street cars have been doing test runs downtown for a little while now, but they opened to the public today. You can ride them for free all week (until November 7th) and there are a few grand opening events this week.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 5 you can join the party downtown where they'll have hotdogs, soft drinks, ice cream and music from The Bob Boyd Sounds Jazz Band in the East Pavilion of the River Market. Prizes will be given away too.

Saturday, November 6, is Family Day. B98 will broadcast from the Alltel Arena Stop in North Little Rock. They'll have lots of family friendly entertainment like clowns and magicians and more prizes.
