Pitch a Tent At the Zoo!

Tuesday April 20, 2004
Did you know that the zoo has special days when you can actually camp out? You can pitch a tent right next to the spider monkeys! These events are called "Zoo Snoozes" and there's a snooze Friday, May 7th and a few more throughout the year!

The snooze includes continental breakfast, tours, smores and a "show" by the Little Rock Zoo. Even if you've seen the shows at the zoo, you've probably never seen the great behind the scenes tour. This special snooze-only tour brings you up-close to the Rhinos, Giraffes and normally a few other animals. When I say you get close, I mean close enough to touch and feed them. It's a great experience for kids of any age. (More information)
